Been up the old 'Lotie' yesterday, after weeks of rain, rain and more rain !!!
Finally cleared up my old allotment, ready for the next guy to take over next season,
lifted all my leeks for using, freezing and giving away to friends, they freeze really well and
are handy for making soup, quite pleased with results, the variety is Mussleburgh, grown from seed, they were planted out in bed to replace my early tatties.
